Harris County Precinct 4 is in the process of redeveloping Hufsmith-Kohrville south of FM 2920. The existing Hufsmith-Kohrville is a rural two-lane asphalt road with roadside ditches for drainage efforts. The redevelopment of the road will consist of 24,000 Square Yards of 10” pavement for a four-lane boulevard with medians. The project also consists of 5,700 Linear Feet of new storm sewer drainage, and a 12,400 Cubic Yard detention pond. In addition to the storm sewer, an existing 6” gas main and 12” water line were relocated prior to the construction of the new pavement.
